There are many different types of sand model making, and different sand models are used in different places. So what are the common forms of sand model making? 

1. Desktop sand model: All traditional models are of the desktop type. 

II. Flip-type sand model: Based on the multi-purpose nature of some customer sites, some companies have developed models that can be flipped over and stand against the wall or inside the wall (or cabinet). 

III. Ground-mounted embedded sand model: Based on the multi-purpose nature of some client sites, site limitations or special requirements, the ground-mounted embedded model has demonstrated its effectiveness in the urban planning real estate model. 

4. Embedded sand model on conference table: Based on the multi-purpose nature of some client sites, domestic model manufacturers have developed models that are embedded into the conference table (floor), effectively saving space. This is particularly suitable for the demonstration of multimedia sand models in government departments, such as the military affairs department, the civil defense department, three-dimensional transportation, and military command. 

V. Wall-mounted Sand Model: Based on their existing products, domestic architectural model enterprises have developed wall-mounted models in response to the limitations of certain sites or special requirements of numerous customers. These models have effectively addressed the site limitations and met the users' special needs, and have been fully recognized by the users. This model can also be moved and hung, and can be connected to computers and large-screen displays for multimedia synchronous presentation. It is particularly suitable for the use of location models for real estate development and multimedia sand models for transportation. 

VI. Portable Sand Model: Based on the exhibition needs of some customers and the versatility of the venue, folding and carpeted models were developed. These are particularly suitable for the display of high-tech product models. 

VII. Network Three-Dimensional Sand Model: Using the three-dimensional mapping method of computers, a sand model is created, which can be viewed through the network.
